Good Goals Make Good Results

Good goals are:

Realistic (NO pie-in-the-sky here)! and   Include:

  • Health
  • Family
  • Spiritual
  • Rest (vacation or leisure)

Beneficial: What is the benefit in each area listed above?

Well defined: Use specific rather than general descriptions

List any obstacles and how to advance through them – minor goals along the way

Have a reasonable time frame:  Depends on area and specific goal. Some goals are short and there is nothing more to do. Others longer and may need modification as time goes on.

  • Short term – <yr.
  • Moderate term >yr. <yrs.
  • Long term >yrs.
